OK, that's enough rain....seriously
I usually appreciate my days off with the boys because we are able to get out and do things together but I'm getting a little tired of being trapped indoors. I think they're getting a little bored as well. I know the rain is a good thing as it helps everything become so green and lush but my garden is drowning and the weeds have taken over the whole yard. It's only 8:30am and all of the house work is done, we've all had breakfast and I'm desparately trying to think of something we can all do together that doesn't involve tearing the house apart. Hmmm, maybe we'll head over to grandmas or go shopping.
On another note, 3 days until our Loon Lake vacation - Yippee!!!

New deck
We've decided to re-build our deck. Tonight Mike and I started to tear the old deck apart and it was taking FOREVER. Mike called Glen over and they had it apart within about 1/2 hour. Now the big question, wood or cement. We're not totally sure yet. I was sure we would find all kinds of crazy, disgusting things under the old deck but it was actually quite boring. Lots of slugs, bugs and rotten wood but no dead bodies- interesting......

I'm going to miss these days....
I know it sounds crazy and people usually complain about having to use cloth diapers but I have to say that I love them. I guess because it was a choice for me. Not something that I was forced to do by necessity. I think it keeps me connected to moms from the "old days" a bit more and I like that. It helps me appreciate what they went through and to be thankful for what we have today. Soon Lucas will be out of diapers and these will be packed away hopefully for someone else to use one day.

Lucas is hilarious...
He's so determined to be a "big boy" and keep up with everything that Joseph is already doing. He has no idea how to brush his teeth so he just runs the toothbrush under the water then sucks the water out of the toothbrush and starts all over again.
Mike and I went to an ICBC appreciation dinner last night in White Rock. It was actually really fun. We had a very nice dinner and then had Salsa dance lessons! Mom stayed with the boys so that we could have a night out. It was great!
