Asparagus and gibbled shoulders

Our first edible piece of asparagus from the garden! (Mike took this pic to show the size of it in comparison to other stuff). It took 3 years for the plant to mature but it's finally ready! We steamed it last night and shared it (all 4 of us, not much to go around!) but there's plenty more where that came from! Gardens are sooo great. Who knew?!?!

p.s. Finally went to the Chiropractor yesterday for my gibbled shoulder and found out it was actually a dislocated rib joint ANYWAY, just wanted to make the comment that Dr. Rochon of Sumas Mountain Chiropractic is the greatest!! I actually woke up this morning without wanting to cry in pain. I can take a deep breath without it hurting, yippee!!
